Christmas in July - Ending Points

 I worked on a couple of things during our Discord's Christmas in July events. 

Here is my status on "Midnight Santa" by Teresa Kogut.  I did finish filling in the coat before the end of the month.  The plan is to continue to stitch this on the 5th, 15th, and 25th of the months.  He is stitched on 40 ct. Ancient Ruin by Fox & Rabbit with the Vicki Clayton silk conversions.

I also started and finished "Christmas Magic" by Primrose Cottage.  

This is stitched on 32 ct. light taupe with the called for Colour & Cotton flosses.

Yes, I know it is supposed to say December 25, but I wasn't thinking and thought the 25 indicated the year, so I modified it to 26.  I decided to leave it.  Lol!

This is one of the stitches I finished today. I'll save all the FFO's to be completed together.

Stitched on 32 ct. Taupe Lugana with the provided DMC flosses.

 I found a Just Nan mouse kit in my stash.  It'll be perfect for Halloween!

So... I decided to add to the nest for Christmas.  I got the Gingerbread Santa Mouse, the Gingerbread Mrs. Santa Mouse, and the Gingerbread Candy Mouse.  I just couldn't resist.  I love these little buggers!

Midnight Santa - Teresa Kogut - WIP

 Thanks to the Christmas in July SAL in our discord group, I am getting some stitches in on the Midnight Santa Stocking by Teresa Kogut.  I hope you'll be able to follow along on my progress this month.

 Today I celebrated finishing the model stitch I was working on by whipping up The America Berry by Erica Michaels.  

I sued 40 ct. Legacy fabric and changed the flosses to use some beautiful Gloriana's from my stash.

Flosses:

Gloriana: Rose Flame, Holiday Blue & Fresh Snow.

Classic Colorworks:  Almost Auburn (Eagle)

DMC: 783 (Stars & Accents)

Christmas in July! - Discord SAL

We started a Christmas in July SAL in the DotDotGoose Discord group this month.  

We will be stitching together on our Christmas WIPS (or new starts) every Saturday evening (5pm PST/MST, 7pm CST, and 8pm EST) during the month.  

To keep it fun, there are little challenges to guide our stitching each week.  For each week ending on the date listed, stitch a WIP (or new start) with any of the following motifs or colors.  (You do not need to stitch the motif, it just needs to be a pattern with the motif present.)

July 11:  Santa, wreath, or red thread

July 18:  Christmas tree, holly, stocking, or blue thread

July 25:  Reindeer, lettering, or white threads

Aug 1:  Gingerbread man/house/mouse, elves, or green thread
