Hop into Spring by Brenda Gervais (FFO)

 First of the FFO's!

Hop into Spring has been waiting for me to paint and assemble the beautiful display board (Frilltastic board) from Chantelle's 141 Design.

Love it!

Discord Round-Robin Band Sampler (WIP)

This is one of the last round robin band samplers I will be stitching on for our discord group.  This has been really fun, and I've learned a lot.  Every single band has been absolutely beautiful!

Fabric and Floss:  chosen by the owner.  Each band is the stitcher's design.  They stitch the same band on every band sampler with the owner's fabric and floss so each one is different!

My stitching room

Here is a picture of my winter stitching room. In the summer, I just bring my whole portable setup outside and stitch on the desk.  I'll post a picture later I'm sure.

This is a sunroom on the back of the house.  There are cubbies to the left of the table to hold my project bags.  My large floor stand (painting fairy) is setup with my recliner and has whatever Chatelaine I am working on at the time. My portable "Franken-stand" I use for the daily smaller projects is at the love seat where my dog can cuddle with me while I stitch.

EEK! Look at the FFO's just waiting for me

You aren't seeing many FFO's from me as my dog injured her eye badly in February and she has been in a cone. I can't bring her in the workshop area or leave her alone.  There are too many things to knock over or get into.

For. now, I'm just stacking the FFO's in little cardboard dog food trays with all the materials to FFO so I should be ready to go back to "Finishing Fridays" when I start up again.

12 Monthly Minis (April) from Primrose Cottage (Start & Finish)

It's not a great picture, but I stitched the April Monthly Mini from Primrose Cottage.

Fabric:  28 ct. light taupe lugana. Floss:  DMC

I plan to FFO these as pillows as I have the finishing kit from Primrose.  I also stitched some of these as biscornu's too.

Stitching Day - April 6 - SNOW! - UGH!!!

Here is the snow they were forecasting.  UGH!!

America the Beautiful from Stitching with Housewives (Finish)

Finished my oldest WIP today!  I love the piece, I'm not sure why it took so long for me to finish it, but Aida is a little harder for me to stitch on. It came up on my WIPGO so voila - it's done!

Fabric: 14 ct. Navy Aida.  Floss:  DMC

Goodbye Winter! Hello Spring!

Time to put away my Hands on Design Winter pieces, even though they are forecasting snow for tomorrow here in Upstate New York.  Lol!  These are: Winter Folk, Gather Moments, and Gather Pinecones from Hands on Design.  All finished on boards from Chantelle's 141 Design co.

Here are Spring Folk, Gather Blessings, and Gather Wildflowers that are taking their place.

Midnight Santa from Teresa Kogut

We stitch on Christmas/Holiday charts on the 5, 15, and 25 of each month in the DotDotGoose discord group.

My piece is Midnight Santa.  I'm stitching this with my friend Dot Dot Denise. I forgot to get a picture of my new start (shame on me) so here's a picture of the pattern.

Fox & Rabbit 2026 Mystery SAL (WIP)

This is my April section of the mystery SAL. I wish I had color picked the March section, but I was pressed for time.  The April section was a straight stitch showing the variegation in the floss.

New Patreon Mystery SAL from Teresa Kogut (Kitting)

Today I'll be kitting up "America the Beautiful" by Teresa Kogut.

I'm very excited to do this SAL. I loved every minute of the "Hometown" Mystery SAL last year.

I won't be able to start right away but I want to get everything ready.

I did get all the called for flosses, but I don't have a piece of Steinbeck that is big enough.

Today's quandry... what fabric to use?  After comtemplating several choices and doing a floss toss, I decided to use 40 ct.  "Maple Bar" by Cedar River Linen.  My piece of "Steinbeck" was a 36 ct. and wasn't big enough.
