Let it Snow - Hands on Design (FFO)

 

 I finally FFO'd this Let it Snow ornament from Hands on Design. 

I changed all the floss colors.  I like the way it turned out.

Finish: Mount Vernon Christmas (Plum Street)

 Christmas in July!

Our Discord group decided to do a Christmas in July stitch.  I chose Mount Vernon Christmas from Plum Street.

Fabric:  36 ct. Oracle linen

Flosses: Called for

Frosty Tiny Town - Heart in Hand

It's still snowing here in CNY, so why not stitch some more winter patterns?  Today's finish was Frosty Tiny Town from Heart in Hand Needleart. It's so cute! I have a display piece from Paisley's and Polka Dots, but you'll see that when I FFO it.

Fabric:  32 ct. stormy weather lugana (the un-mottled side)

Floss:  Suggested DMCs

I will finish this on a Long wood display frame from Paisleys and Polka Dots.

Winter Wonderland

 Winter Wonderland from Primrose Cottage Stitches

This was the Free Stitch Friday for January from Primrose Cottage.

I did purchase the kit with the fabric, floss, & finishing fabric.

Fabric:  28 ct. light ash grey lugana

Flosses:  

Cottage Garden Threads: Blue Heaven, Spruce, Water Wheel

DMC:  844, 3853 and 3865

I'm not sure how I'm going to fully finish this one yet.  It will look wonderful in my January snowman display.

 Let it Snow from Hands on Design

Fabric: 32 ct. Vintage Country Mocha

Floss:  My own conversion of flosses.

I can't wait to FFO this one.  I will be finishing it as a round ornament with the "snow" banner.

The photo is a little dark.  The dark color is blue, not black.  The snow text is a blended dark and light blue.
