Cardinal Points - Long Dog (New Start)

 I've had the Cardinal Points pattern for awhile and decided to start it now that a few of my friends on the Stitching N Friends 22 Discord group decided to stitch on their Long Dog charts on any calendar day that ends with a 7.

Fabric: TBD, choosing between a 36 ct. linen or 18 ct. aida. I do have a really nice piece of 20 ct. Bellana too.  Hmm, decisions, decisions... I have 2 more days to choose.

Flosses:  I decided to splurge and get the Vikki Clayton silk pack for this.  I was going to have to purchase all of the called for Gentle Arts anyway, so I decided to try the silks instead.

(I saw a finished piece done in the silks, and that may have swayed me a bit.)
