St. Patrick's Day Craziness
I love to sing! My original B.A. degree is in Music (Voice & Violin).
I am lucky to perform with a couple of great groups of people. One of them is the "Dr. Tom Dooley Choralettes", and you guessed it, we sing Irish songs! We perform all throughout the area during the month of March to spread happiness and cheer. As a result, we had a performance almost every day from March 1st through March 17th. This hindered my stitching quite a bit, but it was a blast.

Chatelaine Watergarden - March
I finished most of the March section and then started to add the triangular borders until I realized they weren't part of the release. Lol! It evens out because I didn't stitch some little plants in the four corners. It'll have to wait for next month because I am going on vacation!

Dwelling Place Pillow 2 - Creative Whims
I couldn't wait to start the second, smaller pillow from the Dwelling Place booklet. I decided to stitch both pillows before stitching the sampler so that I had a lot of practice stitching on 40 ct.
Fabric: 40 ct. Tych linen
Floss: Called for flosses
I made a mistake and used the wrong floss for the body of the birds. It looked alright so I left it.

12 Monthly Minis (March) - Primrose Cottage
These little monthly minis are so cute!
12 Monthly Minis - Primrose Cottage
Fabric: I stitched this on a mystery fabric I got from the free table at a retreat. It looks like a 32 ct. green lugana, although it feels like a Murano blend. I really enjoyed stitching on it. It was smooth as butter!
Floss: I used DMC 3362 and 3364. These will match my existing St. Patrick's day stitches.
I'm going to finish this one as a biscornu, so I stitched the four corners for the back side.
