It's a wrap on 2024!

I decided to frog 2 of the trees that I had previously stitched with Tarragon instead of 3052 on Page 11. I misplaced one of the trees slightly when I put it back in, but it was only one stitch off, so I left it. I had to fudge a little at the church to accomodate, but it still looks alright to me. Just "making it my own". LOL!

She came to us as a rescue from a breeding facility in North Carolina in 2017 as part of the Pilots and Paws Programs and Duffy's Friends in Rochester.
When she arrived, she had heartworm, dental problems, a back leg that had been broken and left to heal incorrectly, and no social skills as a dog. Very timid, but sweet, she didn't know how to play with toys, didn't bark, and stood at any doorway, afraid to go through it. You could leave her in a crate with the door open and she would not leave it.
She is now 14, acts like a dog, and is in relatively good health. The only remaining issues are a special diet and extreme separation anxiety. She does remain calm if we leave her in the company of dogs she knows so she is a frequent-flyer at my daughter's house to hang out with her cattle dogs.
She sits by my side daily whenever I stitch or during online zoom sessions and virtual retreats. I felt I should introduce her, as I will probably include some of her antics in future posts.
I took the finishing class from Lindy Stitches at the Jingle Ball 2024.
It's a cute, quick finish and very easy to do.

Just love Jeannette's classes! She makes learning specialty stitches less intimidating.
I got brave and stitched a small Chatelaine after last year's class. This year I will attempt a medium size one!
Thank you Jeannette (and the Jingle Ball of course).
