Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Here is the cute little stitch I did for St. Patrick's Day.  It's from Anabella's Needleart and is part of their "St. Patty's Day Trio" chart. I stitched it on white 27 ct. Linda from my stash with the called for DMCs.  I did change the text on the owl to just say "Lucky".

How do I keep track of everything?

I'll admit it.  In one of my previous occupations, I was a computer geek.   I found it extremely annoying to have to use multiple apps to keep track of all my stitchy things. Having to enter the same information repeatedly in several placees was maddening.  I thought there must be a better way.  I heard about Notion on FrizzieLizzieStitches' flosstube last year and I was ecstatic! I started with the template from Elizabeth (thank you!)  and adapted it for my own use.

I now use my Notion site to organize ALL of my stitching-related files and information.  Everything is in one place.  The Projects database page is the biggest part, but I also made pages that link directly to my stitching tracker (from TeresaLittleStitcher), WIPGO, my floss spreadsheets (from Lord Libidian), a wish list, fabric and charts stashes as well as some other pages to keep track of other random things I don't want to forget.  And, it syncs to and works on all my devices.

I'll be featuring a different section of my planner on this blog from time to time.

Nash Stash 2024

Woo hoo!  Almost all my preorders from the Nashville Needlework Market have arrived.  I was fortunate this year to order a bunch, and several more were gifted to me making my haul very large. I can't wait to start, and there are more on my wish list for sure.  I'm a happy, happy stitcher!

Needle Review: Piecemakers

Picture of Piecemakers Needles
I kept hearing about "Piecemakers" needles on a few different Flosstubes, so I decided to get some to try for myself.  I purchased some this week and I love them!  The Piecemakers are very easy to thread, very smooth in the fabric, not too sharp, and they feel stronger than some other brands I have been using.  I'm very happy with them and don't plan to change brands soon.

Where have I been?

Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks.  I've been working on two secret stitches for some family members and haven't been able to post about them or it will ruin the surprise.  I also have had some medical issues to deal with, but am back at it again.

You can look forward to some new stitches this week!

Primrose Cottage Madness!

I took part in the February "Be Mine" challenge from Fat Quarter Shop and tried to stitch something every day in February.  I did stitch every day, but some of the stitches took more than one day.  Fortunately, I had a bunch of small stitches from Primrose Cottage that were perfect for this.  I stitched:  Valentine Quaker, Love Birds, Lindsey's stamp series: Be Mine, Feb. 14, and Sweetheart, February Nine Patch, Hugs & Kisses, Be Mine Valentine, Be Mine Home, and Home Tweet Home during the month.  You can see pictures of all but Be Mine Home and Home Tweet Home in the February FFO's video posted previously.
